This is thanks to our great team of Homecare Support Workers. Due to an increase in demand for our services, we are expanding our amazing team of Community Care and Support Workers within our Community Service team based at our Worthing Branch serving our customers across West Sussex.

Experience is great, but as long as you share our values, this could be the role for you as we offer full training and support to all our new staff. As a Community Care and Support Worker with FirstCol, you will be working to support the elderly or those with disabilities in the comfort of their own home while helping them maintain independence. Your role will include completing Client Assessments and Client Care Plans and assisting the Registered Manager in coordinating hospital discharges and requests for Emergency Care Packages.

You will be supporting our customers with things like:

  • Taking medication
  • Personal care
  • Meal preparation
  • Shopping
  • Light domestic duties
