Job Purpose
Firstco is a UK‑based systems engineering company specialising in mission‑critical control and communication systems within transportation and other critical infrastructure environments. We are recruiting Control Systems Engineers with PLC and SCADA project experience.
Example Duties and Responsibilities
- System design – specifications, drawings, registers.
- Test and commissioning – FAT, SAT, system migration.
- On‑site implementation of systems.
- Contributing to assurance and requirements traceability activities.
- Experience with ABB, Allen Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens PLC or SCADA platforms.
- Awareness of IEC 62443 desirable.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field (experience may substitute).
- At least 5 years of control systems experience.
- UK resident, eligible for security vetting procedures.
- Willingness to work occasional overnight shifts or weekends.
