A highly regarded offshore law firm is seeking an ambitious Insolvency Associate to join its prestigious Guernsey-based litigation team, with a focus on insolvency and restructuring work. This role would suit a lawyer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys tackling complex legal and financial challenges.
Responsibilities include:
- Advising clients on restructuring strategies, debt management and preventative insolvency measures
- Supporting and leading matters involving formal insolvency, liquidation and related litigation proceedings
- Working closely with clients, creditors and stakeholders to negotiate practical and commercially focused solutions
- Assisting with complex litigation matters where insolvency proceedings or financial distress are a key factor
You should be a confident and personable litigation lawyer with experience in insolvency or restructuring matters, be commercially aware, resilient and comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines. In addition you will be adaptable and solutions-focused, with an interest in both contentious and advisory work.
