Firstcall 247 Limited is a fast-growing healthcare company with various branches around the UK. Our services aim to support nursing homes and care homes, as well as supporting service users in the community. We are looking for an experienced individual with strong business development experience within the health sector. The role will play a key part in supporting the branches by maintaining and developing relationships with care homes and CCGs in various counties.
Skills & Experience
- Must have previous experience in the health sector
- Must have sales and business development experience
- Evidence of strong business relationships with commissioners, CCGs, and Local Authorities
- Must be driven, determined, a team player, and hardworking
- Must have strong organisational skills to manage any challenging workload
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
We welcome applications from candidates from the UK. Whilst there is the facility to work from home as per the demands of work, the expectation would be that the successful candidate would spend time in our offices based in Nottingham and our other branches. Working week and travel would be required. As part of the job, the out-of-hours service will be in place on a rota basis, approximately every 4 weeks.
Main Responsibilities
- Closely working with operational teams, clinical and management teams
- Attending meetings with the Multidisciplinary team and CCGs
- Carrying out structured business development for the company in selected regions
- Getting new care packages to the branches
- Submitting tenders and quotes for any frameworks
- Contributing to marketing campaigns
- Reviewing and updating the rates for new business
- Awareness of upcoming frameworks and tenders
