About the role As a Vehicle Examiner Assistant, you will assist the vehicle examiner in carrying out inspections in accordance with Central Engineering Standard Operating Procedures. The role offers training and development, as well mentoring from senior level staff. Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities Assist vehicle examiner with inspections and other vehicle related maintenance needed. Carry out the basic service to the bus while it is being inspected (grease, torque wheels, check oil levels etc). Working within a health and safety conscious environment. Complete all paperwork on tablet. Keep the inspection bay clean and tidy at all times and perform cleaning duties when free. Assist with the collection of parts from other depots.
