First Bus has a fantastic opportunity for a National Revenue Protection Manger to join our Revenue Protection team on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting to the Director of Operational Excellence, the successful candidate will oversee and develop Revenue Protection activity across First Bus This is a home-based role; however frequent travel will be expected across the UK. The Day to Day Provide strategic and operational leadership to the Revenue Protection Teams across the First Bus LBUs. Review revenue protection activity to ensure it is consistent, inclusive, innovative and maximises successful outcomes across the organisation, ensuring that fair treatment of our customers is kept at the forefront. Investigate and implement, as appropriate, new ways of delivering revenue protection. Support local teams with budget planning and resource management. Work with suppliers of Revenue Protection equipment and back-office systems to maximise performance and cost effectiveness. Work on recovering Standard Fares through court proceedings where appropriate. Carry out appeal reviews from customers. Work closely with stakeholders, including Operations Directors, to manage and improve the performance of the Revenue Protection teams.
