Due to business requirements, we are now looking to acquire the services of an experienced Learning & Development (L&D) Advisor to foster the culture of continuous learning & professional growth within the Bank.
Please note that this is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive Learning and Development strategies that align with the Bank's goals and the SMCR requirements.
- Create and maintain competency frameworks and ensure they meet regulatory standards.
- Design, deliver, and evaluate engaging training programs and workshops for employees at all levels.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and develop customised solutions.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs, adjusting as needed to improve outcomes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on SMCR-related competency requirements and provide guidance to senior management and HR colleagues.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities and employee progress.
- Proven experience in a Learning and Development role ideally within Banking or Financial Services.
- Previous experience and knowledge of competency requirements under the SMCR will be advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of Learning and Development frameworks and best practices.
- Excellent training delivery and facilitation skills.
- Ability to design and implement effective training programs.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management/engagement.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other relevant software.
