Due to business requirements, we are now looking to acquire the services of an experienced Head of Personal Banking to lead the Personal Banking team. Please note that this role is hybrid with 3 days from the office and 2 days working from home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery of other banking products (Non-Mortgage or Wealth Management) to high-net-worth individuals (HNWI) and retail clients.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow the Personal Banking portfolio, especially Current Accounts and Fixed deposits from the target market.
- Build, maintain, and expand a strong client base, providing tailored banking solutions and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Own and drive uptake of debit cards and mobile app users.
- Lead the growth of liabilities from HNI and affluent clients, focusing on sustainable, long-term deposit relationships.
- Generate sales leads through internal sources, referrals, and personal networks.
- Onboard clients in line with regulatory and bank procedures.
- Lead, inspire, and develop a team with clear targets and monitor performance.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop new/enhance banking products and services.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including client onboarding, TAT for client transactions, and administrative support.
- Prepare and review management information (MI), pipeline reports, and performance trackers.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Significant experience in private/personal banking, with domestic and international clients within the UK financial sector or international markets.
- Previous experience leading teams.
- Excellent networking skills.
