Contract Details:
- Contracted hours: 39 per week (full time and permanent).
- Shifts: 4 on 3 off, Wednesday–Saturday 16:00–02:00.
- Hourly rate: £14.75 (approx. £29,913 per annum).
About the Role
As Cleaning Team Leader you will keep our fleet ready to hit the road each day at our busy Depot. You will assist with planning rota, duty and shift allocations, supervise cleaning using specialist equipment, fuel, oil, water, shunt and park vehicles, maintain cleaning records and quality control audits, and ensure health and safety practices are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and assist with planning the rota, duty and shift allocations.
- Assist with the internal and external cleaning of buses and depot premises using specialist equipment and chemicals.
- Assist with fuelling, oiling, watering, shunting and parking of vehicles.
- Complete cleaning records, cover shifts and conduct quality control audits on cleaners.
- Ensure protective clothing and health and safety procedures are followed.
About You
- A full UK driving licence is required.
- At least 6 months of cleaning experience, confident using cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Supervisory experience.
- PCV licence not essential; training provided if required.
