Trainee Coach Driver – Bristol, Lawrence Hill

£14.84 per hour - £17.00 per hour. We're looking for Trainee Coach Drivers to join First Bus and FlixBus in Bristol. This is a permanent, full‑time role with full training provided, giving you the opportunity to start a new career as a Coach Driver. With First Bus and FlixBus, you'll gain your PCV licence through our training programme and progress straight into operating modern coaches on routes across the UK.

What's in it for you?

  • You'll earn £14.84 per hour while completing training.
  • Once you have successfully completed training, your rate will increase to £16.00 per hour and rise to £17.00 per hour after one year once you're fully qualified.
  • This is a full‑time, permanent role with guaranteed contracted hours and planned rotas, giving you visibility of your working week in advance.
  • You'll also have the opportunity to increase your earnings through overtime when available.

The Role

You will safely transport customers on long‑distance routes across the UK, delivering a professional, reliable, and comfortable travel experience. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of safety, customer service, and professionalism while operating modern coaches on planned routes and schedules.
