Position: PSV/HGV Electrician – Bristol (Lawrence Hill, Easton Road, BS5 0DZ)
Hours & Shifts: 38 hours per week (permanent). Monday‑Friday 06:00‑14:00, overtime available.
Pay & Bonuses: £19.70 per hour plus a £3000 joining bonus (terms apply).
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and carry out vehicle electrical repairs, servicing and parts replacement.
- Diagnose vehicle electrical faults and specify the correct method of repair and parts to use.
- Carry out vehicle road testing to identify specific defects or after remedial repair.
- Fully comply with all HSE legislation and Group policies.
- Fully comply with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures.
- Maintain and develop technical skills as required.
About You:
- Minimum Level 3 NVQ/SVQ (or City & Guilds equivalent) qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair – PSV/HGV preferred.
- Experience in engineering, preferably with HGV or PSV.
- Valid UK driving licence; PCV licence desirable or the ability to obtain one.
