This is a full-time on-site role of an ETF Operations Data Analyst at First Trust Global Portfolios in London. As an ETF Operations Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Working closely with distribution platform partners to maintain accurate fund data in line with regulatory reporting requirements for both existing ETFs and new launches.
- Monitoring the accuracy of fund data across platforms and facilitating the smooth operation of our ETF product offerings.
- Developing custom reporting solutions using tools such as Excel and Power BI to provide management with valuable insights for decision-making.
- Collaborating with teams across sales, marketing, legal, and portfolio management to support on automation and reporting projects.
- Monitoring and responding to ad-hoc client data requests.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a finance-related or data analytics field.
- Proven ability to aggregate and manage data from multiple sources with strong data management expertise.
- Proficiency in Excel, with experience in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL and Power BI, along with a solid understanding of databases and programming languages is essential.
- Strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Willingness to explore and adopt new technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Knowledge of ETFs, capital markets, and the investment management industry and their instruments is a plus.
- A background in consulting or professional services is also desirable.
- 2 years experience in similar role.
