Are you passionate about turning data into insights that drive strategic decision-making? We are looking for a Student Business Analyst to join our team on a 13-month placement, playing a key role in supporting major initiatives across Revenue Management, Sales & Distribution, and Marketing.
What you will be doing:
- Analysing and reporting on revenue, volume, overcrowding and distribution trends across the network.
- Manipulating and interpreting large datasets to produce clear, actionable insights for commercial stakeholders.
- Building robust business cases and business models to predict the impact of upcoming changes and initiatives.
- Clearly communicating trends, insights and recommendations to colleagues at all levels across the organisation.
- Supporting key initiatives within the Commercial team by delivering accurate and timely analytical outputs.
- Assessing and interpreting the effects of key changes to help inform future commercial and strategic decisions.
What you will bring:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and turn it into meaningful insight.
- Confidence in presenting findings and recommendations in a clear, engaging way.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently with large datasets.
- Experience using analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL, or similar) is desirable.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to support colleagues across multiple departments.
