As a Rail Replacement Coordinator, you will be the face of First Travel Solutions (FTS). You will supervise and coordinate the safe and timely operation of our rail replacement bus, events and coach services, ensuring passenger, colleague, public and personal safety. You will provide assistance and information to passengers, consistently demonstrate excellent customer service and maintain high standards in data collection via our coordination portal. You will also help FTS maintain high vehicle standards and support regulations auditing.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate safe and timely operation of rail replacement bus services.
  • Ensure safety of passengers, colleagues, public, and self at all times.
  • Provide assistance and information to passengers and demonstrate excellent customer service.
  • Maintain high standards in data collection through the coordination portal.
  • Support FTS in maintaining vehicle standards and regulations auditing.
  • Engage drivers on regulations and adherence to PSVAR/PSVAIR.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Experience in the transport industry is desirable but not essential.
  • Commitment to providing consistently excellent customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills – enthusiastic, approachable, and confident.
  • Patient, reliable, calm under pressure.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Initiative and problem‑solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shift times, including early mornings, evenings, late nights, and weekends.
  • Physical ability to stand for up to 12 hours, handle luggage in all weather conditions, and work without shelter.
  • Own transportation and ability to be located within 10 miles of key stations.
