Permanent Staff role Competitive Salary plus benefits Are you a passionate and experienced Controls and Instrumentation Engineer ready to take the next step in your career? On behalf of a trusted client, we are looking for a Senior C&I Engineer to join their dynamic team in Woking. In this critical role, you\’ll take ownership of engineering deliverables, supervise junior team members, and ensure technical excellence across a variety of high-impact projects within the energy and infrastructure sectors. What You\’ll Do Lead and coordinate the production of engineering deliverables in line with the project plan. Prepare key documentation including Specifications, Shutdown Cause & Effect Charts, Datasheets, Drawings, and Technical Requisitions Supervise, review, and check the work of junior engineers as delegated. Support the development of the Technical Document Register (TDR) and contribute to regular project reporting. Conduct Technical Bid Evaluations and review vendor documentation to ensure design compliance. Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests and interface with multiple disciplines to ensure a fully integrated design. Ensure compliance with internal quality procedures (ISO 9001), project plans, and industry regulations (ISO 14001). Contribute to mentoring and development of team members. Communicate technical issues clearly and efficiently to senior project stakeholders. What You\’ll Need A master\’s degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent); Chartered status preferred. Significant experience in Oil & Gas, Consultancy, FEED, or EPC environments. In-depth knowledge of international equipment specs, industry codes, and engineering standards. Strong understanding of safety, quality, and environmental compliance. Experience preparing and coordinating engineering documents and schedules. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail, proactive mindset, and collaborative team spirit.
