Build Your Construction Management Career with a Leading Infrastructure Team Our Client has a requirement for an Assistant Site Manager, who will be required to work on a Permanent basis in Peterborough.

Role

Purpose: Provide day-to-day leadership to site teams and subcontractors.

Coordinate multiple construction activities to ensure successful project delivery.

Support the development of site operations while gaining experience toward a Site Manager position.

Deputise for the Site Manager when required.

Drive performance, continuous improvement, and stakeholder engagement across projects.

Responsibilities: Support Site Managers and operational teams in achieving project objectives.

Assist with the planning and delivery of construction activities.

Coordinate labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution.

Assist in the management and coordination of site resources.

Promote a positive, collaborative, and high-performing culture on site.

Develop strong working relationships with project teams and stakeholders.

Encourage collaboration, inclusion, and diverse perspectives across site operations.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence.

Deputise for the Site Manager when required.

Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications: Previous experience as a Site Supervisor or equivalent on medium-sized construction projects.

SMSTS qualification.

Valid CSCS card.

Health & Safety and/or First Aid at Work qualifications.

Programme and resource management experience.

Excellent organisational skills.

Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Valid UK driving licence.
