Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) projects within highways infrastructure
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support project growth and delivery
  • Ensure technical excellence and safety throughout the design process
  • Oversee resource planning and forecasting to meet project deadlines and budgets
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation, in line with Jacobs\' safety culture
  • Drive quality and innovation in ITS engineering design

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience in the design and management of ITS or traffic signal projects
  • Strong leadership abilities and the capability to lead a design team independently
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
  • In-depth knowledge of highway design standards and their practical application
  • Experience managing the financial aspects and cost control of engineering projects
  • Professional Membership with a recognised engineering Institution or Institute (e.g., IET, CIHT, ICE)
