Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) projects within highways infrastructure
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support project growth and delivery
- Ensure technical excellence and safety throughout the design process
- Oversee resource planning and forecasting to meet project deadlines and budgets
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation, in line with Jacobs\' safety culture
- Drive quality and innovation in ITS engineering design
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in the design and management of ITS or traffic signal projects
- Strong leadership abilities and the capability to lead a design team independently
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
- In-depth knowledge of highway design standards and their practical application
- Experience managing the financial aspects and cost control of engineering projects
- Professional Membership with a recognised engineering Institution or Institute (e.g., IET, CIHT, ICE)
