Job Description Senior Structural Design Engineer \n Birchwood, Warrington \n Permanent \n Join a Growing Engineering Consultancy \n We've got a great opportunity with a dynamic and ambitious design consultancy specialising in Temporary Works solutions across infrastructure, construction, buildings and heavy industry sectors. \n The Role \n As a Senior Structural Design Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality temporary works and structural engineering solutions for a diverse client base. \n Key responsibilities include: \n \n Temporary works design in accordance with BS5975 and Eurocodes \n Design and assessment of steel and reinforced concrete structures \n Temporary propping and support systems \n Excavation support design \n Facade retention schemes \n Demolition sequencing and structural stability assessments \n Production and review of calculations, drawings and reports \n Leading projects and managing client relationships \n Site visits and technical support during construction phases \n Mentoring junior engineers where appropriate \n \n About You \n We're keen to speak with engineers from a range of backgrounds. \n You could be: \n \n A Structural or Civil Engineer with 2-3+ years' Temporary Works experience \n A Senior Engineer with 7+ years' structural design experience from infrastructure, energy, bridge or major civil engineering projects \n Working towards Chartership or already Chartered (ICE or IStructE) \n \n You'll also have: \n \n A Civil or Structural Engineering degree \n Strong knowledge of relevant design standards and codes \n Experience producing structural calculations and technical reports \n Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills \n The ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team \n \n What's On Offer? \n \n Private Medical Insurance \n Pension Scheme \n Hybrid working after probation \n Employee mentoring programme \n Sick pay \n On-site parking \n Genuine career progression within a growing consultancy \n Opportunity to work on major infrastructure and construction projects \n \n If you're looking for a role where your expertise will have a direct impact and you can help shape the future of a growing business, we'd love to hear from you. \n Company Information \n At First Recruitment Group we understand just how important it is to secure the right people.
