Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector to join a long-term contract working in a high-security environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and verify electrical installations for compliance with current regulations and standards
  • Carry out electrical testing, inspection, and certification
  • Ensure high standards of quality, safety, and workmanship
  • Identify defects and non-compliances and support corrective actions
  • Work in line with site safety procedures and security requirements
  • Liaise with site teams, supervisors, and management

Essential Requirements

  • 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)
  • 2391 / 2392 Inspection & Testing qualification
  • Valid CSCS Card
  • Proven quality electrical inspection experience
  • Ability to obtain SC Security Clearance
  • Sole British National (mandatory for clearance)

Travel & Accommodation

  • £50 per night accommodation allowance when staying away from home
  • Paid travel time:
  • 5 hours per week, or
  • 2 hours per day if commuting locally
