We're looking for talented Electrical, Control and Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineers or Designers to join our client's team, on a permanent basis, and contribute to some of the UK's most important nuclear and clean energy projects. You'll help shape the design and delivery of complex EC&I systems that support safe, efficient and innovative operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a meaningful role in the future of low-carbon energy and national power.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and delivering electrical, control and instrumentation solutions across major projects
  • Producing and reviewing design documentation, drawings, specifications and calculations
  • Supporting project teams with technical input across all design phases
  • Ensuring that engineering output aligns with safety, quality and regulatory frameworks
  • Collaborating with colleagues, clients and suppliers to resolve technical challenges
  • Contributing to project planning, progress reviews and design integration activities

Essential Experience

  • Experience designing or delivering EC&I systems within regulated industries (e.g., nuclear, energy, defence, utilities)
  • Understanding of electrical engineering principles, control systems, PLC/SCADA technologies and instrumentation
  • Knowledge of relevant safety, compliance and technical standards
  • Ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams and engage effectively with stakeholders
  • Experience producing EC&I design deliverables (for designers) or leading technical work packages (for engineers)

Qualifications

  • Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering or a related discipline
  • Professional registration (IEng/CEng) or working towards it is advantageous
  • You must have Right to Work in the UK
