First Marine Solutions (FMS) are a service provider to the local and international renewables and oil & gas sectors specialising in the engineering, design, procurement, installation, and maintenance of mooring systems for floating platforms. FMS also specialise in the planning and undertaking of marine activities related to floating platforms such as towage, vessel loadouts, marine assurance, and assisting with location planning and consent.
Due to continued business growth, First Marine Solutions are currently seeking an experienced Project Surveyor to join our team on a full time, permanent basis. You will assist to manage the complete lifecycle of projects, from award phase, through planning, execution, monitoring, completion and closeout phases, as well as post-completion evaluation and review.
The successful candidate will hold prior experience in the offshore survey industry as a Senior Surveyor / Party Chief, be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programmes and enjoy tackling the technical challenges presented in Surveying. Responsible for providing technical survey expertise whilst assisting the Project Managers to achieve safe and profitable execution of assigned projects, the successful candidate will hold previous experience within the offshore survey industry as a Senior Surveyor and / or Party Chief, will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Programmes and be self-motivated, possessing the ability to use their own initiative to achieve defined goals.

- Essential:
- Degree in related discipline and / or previous experience within a similar role.
- Offshore survey industry experience as a Senior Surveyor and / or Party Chief.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Programmes (incl Word, Excel, Projects, Visio).
- Full UK Driving License.
- Preferred:
- BOSIET & MIST Certification.
- ENG1 / OGUK Medical(s).
- GWO Certification.
- Experienced in the use of NaviSuite NaviPac Software.
