Location: Edinburgh City Centre
We are currently seeking an experienced Working Site Supervisor to join a prestigious construction project in Edinburgh City Centre.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Supervisor who enjoys leading from the front — managing a team of Joiners while also getting involved on the tools when required.
The Role
You will be responsible for overseeing a team of Joiners on site, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. This is a working supervisory position, so you'll be expected to manage and coordinate the team while also assisting with joinery duties as required.
- Supervising and coordinating a team of Joiners
- Working alongside the team and assisting with joinery duties
- Ensuring work is completed to the required quality and programme
- Coordinating daily activities and allocating tasks
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety on site
- Liaising with Site Management and other trades
- Monitoring progress and reporting any issues
- Leading by example and maintaining a positive site environment
Requirements
- SSSTS minimum qualification
- Valid CSCS card
- Proven experience supervising Joiners on construction projects
- Strong joinery background with the ability to work on the tools
- Good understanding of site health & safety requirements
- Ability to lead a team while remaining hands-on
- Reliable, organised and professional approach
