We are currently working with a well established and growing groundworks and civil engineering contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Civils Site Manager to join their team.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. Projects will typically include:

  • Groundworks packages
  • Roads and infrastructure
  • Drainage and utilities
  • Commercial and residential developments

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing site teams, subcontractors, and plant
  • Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and budget
  • Managing health & safety on site, including RAMS and site compliance
  • Coordinating with engineers, clients, and internal teams
  • Maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship
  • Reporting progress to senior management

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within civils/groundworks
  • Strong understanding of earthworks, drainage, and infrastructure projects
  • Ability to manage teams and drive programme delivery
  • Excellent knowledge of health & safety requirements
  • SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid preferred
