Are you an experienced Civils Site Manager with a strong background in groundworks projects? We are working with a well-established civils and groundworks contractor delivering a range of projects across East Scotland, and they are looking to bring in a Site Manager to support their growing workload.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard. Typical duties include:
- Managing groundworks and civils packages including foundations, drainage, roads, and external works
- Supervising site teams, subcontractors, and plant operations
- Driving high standards of health & safety and quality compliance
- Coordinating works in line with programme and project milestones
- Managing site documentation including RAMS, permits, and reports
- Liaising with clients, engineers, and commercial teams
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within civils / groundworks
- Strong technical understanding of Earthworks, Drainage, Foundations & substructures
- Experience managing site teams and subcontractors
- Good knowledge of H&S procedures and site compliance
- Relevant qualifications (SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid)
