The Opportunity
We are working with a leading main contractor who are delivering a landmark new build development in Edinburgh city centre. As part of their continued growth and a busy pipeline of projects, they are looking to recruit an experienced Site Engineer to join the project team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile, technically challenging project in a vibrant city centre location, with a company that invests heavily in its people and offers genuine career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out setting out and surveying duties on site to ensure works are delivered to design and specification.
- Assist in the coordination of technical information between design and construction teams.
- Support quality assurance procedures, maintaining accurate site records and as-built data.
- Work closely with Site Management and Project Engineers to ensure programme and safety targets are achieved.
- Contribute to method statements, risk assessments, and site inspections.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to resolve technical queries.
