Are you an experienced Civils Site Manager with a strong background in groundworks projects? We’re working with a well-established civils and groundworks contractor delivering a range of projects across East Scotland, and they’re looking to bring in a Site Manager to support their growing workload.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard. Typical duties include:

  • Managing groundworks and civils packages including foundations, drainage, roads, and external works
  • Supervising site teams, subcontractors, and plant operations
  • Driving high standards of health & safety and quality compliance
  • Coordinating works in line with programme and project milestones
  • Managing site documentation including RAMS, permits, and reports
  • Liaising with clients, engineers, and commercial teams

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within civils / groundworks
  • Strong technical understanding of:
    • Earthworks
    • Drainage
    • Foundations & substructures
  • Experience managing site teams and subcontractors
  • Good knowledge of H&S procedures and site compliance
  • Relevant qualifications (SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid)
