We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Civils Site Manager to lead and manage day-to-day operations across a range of civil engineering and groundwork projects. You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality work safely, efficiently, and on time, ensuring projects meet specifications and exceed expectations. You'll be joining a well-established civil engineering team known for delivering earthworks, drainage systems, concrete foundations, and more across diverse sectors including infrastructure, residential, commercial and public projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage on-site operations to deliver civil engineering and groundwork projects from start to finish.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, operatives, plant and materials to maintain project progress and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, toolbox talks and risk assessments.
  • Maintain accurate records, daily logs and reports.
  • Communicate effectively with project teams, clients and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.

Qualifications

  • Proven site management experience in civils, groundworks or civil engineering projects.

  • Full UK driving licence.
