We are working with an established and well-respected civil engineering contractor with a strong presence across Scotland’s power and renewable energy sectors. Due to continued growth and a secure pipeline of work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Civils Project Manager to support the delivery of projects primarily within the power and wind farm sectors.
This is a key role within the business, offering long-term stability and the opportunity to work on high-profile energy infrastructure projects.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the safe, efficient, and commercial delivery of civils packages across power and wind farm projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Overall management of civils projects from pre-construction through to completion
- Planning, programming, and resourcing of works
- Management of site teams, subcontractors, and supply chain
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Client and stakeholder liaison
- Cost control, progress reporting, and risk management
- Supporting commercial teams with change management and forecasting
About You
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within civil engineering
- Background delivering projects in power, wind farms, renewables, or utilities
- Strong understanding of civils works including earthworks, drainage, concrete, access roads, and infrastructure
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- SMSTS and CSCS required
- Full UK driving licence
