Are you an experienced Site Agent looking to play a key role in delivering major power and transmission infrastructure? We are working with a leading Tier 1 civil engineering contractor delivering a large-scale underground cabling and substation project in North Scotland, and they are looking to strengthen their delivery team with an experienced Site Agent.

The Role

You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards. Typical duties will include:

  • Managing civils works packages including earthworks, ducting, cable routes, and substation infrastructure
  • Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and plant
  • Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and budget
  • Driving high standards of health & safety, quality, and compliance
  • Managing site documentation including RAMS, permits, and reporting
  • Liaising with project stakeholders including clients, engineers, and commercial teams

Project Scope

You will be working on a major infrastructure scheme involving:

  • Underground HV cable installation
  • Substation civils and associated infrastructure
  • Earthworks, drainage, and access construction
  • Working within a live energy environment

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Site Agent within civils / infrastructure
  • Experience on power, transmission, or major infrastructure projects (desirable)
  • Strong understanding of earthworks, ducting, drainage, and RC works
  • Experience managing teams and subcontractors on site
  • Good knowledge of H&S and quality procedures
  • Relevant qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree preferred)
