Are you a Senior Site Engineer looking to work on major infrastructure and renewable energy projects across Glasgow and the Central Belt? We’re working with a leading civil engineering contractor delivering a strong pipeline of work across infrastructure, energy, and renewables, and they’re looking to strengthen their team with an experienced Senior Engineer.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in the delivery of large-scale civils projects, supporting site teams and ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. Typical duties include:
- Setting out and overseeing works on site
- Managing and mentoring Site Engineers and junior staff
- Ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings and specifications
- Coordinating subcontractors and site activities
- Maintaining accurate site records, QA documentation, and reporting
- Supporting the delivery team with programme and technical input
- Driving high standards of health & safety and quality
Project Exposure
You’ll gain experience across a range of projects, including:
- Major infrastructure schemes
- Renewable energy and grid projects (substations, cabling, associated civils)
- Earthworks, drainage, and reinforced concrete works
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience as a Site Engineer / Senior Engineer within civils market
- Strong setting out and technical knowledge
- Experience on infrastructure, energy, or renewables projects
- Ability to manage site teams and coordinate works
- Good understanding of H&S and quality processes
- Relevant qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree preferred)
