First Task Professional are delighted to be working with a growing specialist subcontractor to recruit a Senior QS / Commercial Manager for their team based near Falkirk. The company has an enviable order book, with the majority of their workload already secured for the next 3 years and are currently working with a number of well-known and established building contractors and developers across Central Scotland.
Reporting into the MD, your role will include:
- Provide robust, accurate and timely cost and value reporting at both project and business unit level
- Ensure accurate cash flow reporting takes place, carrying out cost management including forecasting, updating the monthly CVR cost and commercial plans
- Ensure that commercial processes are adhered to across the business
- Subcontract procurement and management - engaging additional supply chain to deliver scope of works
- Reviewing terms and conditions
- Estimating new projects as and when required
- Recruitment, training and development of additional QS's
The business is looking to continue to grow and this person to be integral in the long-term plans for the company.
