We are working in partnership with a well-established and highly regarded specialist joinery contractor who are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a £11m internal joinery package on a landmark city centre redevelopment. This is a long-term opportunity on a high-profile scheme, involving complex and high-spec bespoke joinery and fit-out works.

As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of the package through to completion and handover.

Key responsibilities:
  • Managing all aspects of the internal joinery works package
  • Coordinating design, procurement, and installation activities
  • Leading site teams, supervisors, and subcontractors
  • Ensuring works are delivered on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Overseeing health & safety compliance across all operations
  • Managing client relationships and attending regular progress meetings
  • Driving programme and resolving any technical or logistical challenges
  • Working closely with commercial teams on cost control, variations, and reporting
  • Ensuring smooth commissioning and handover of all joinery elements
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within main contractor, joinery, fit-out, or interiors
  • Strong track record delivering high-value projects/packages
  • Experience working on complex or heritage projects is highly desirable
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of programme management and commercial awareness
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
