We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a team in West London Isleworth. The setting is close to Isleworth and is well-regarded in the local community. The nursery recently received a good rating in their OFSTED inspection and are looking for someone who shares similar commitment to providing excellent childcare.
About the Nursery
- Location: Isleworth West London, TW7
- Age Group: Children aged 2 to 5 years old.
- Operating Hours: 08:00 - 18:00, 5 days per week.
- Salary: £27,000 to £32,000 (Depending on qualifications and experience).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and promote the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and ensure its delivery in line with the setting's principles.
- Plan and deliver activities that cover all seven areas of learning.
- Supervise and manage the preparation and execution of daily lesson plans, ensuring that each session runs smoothly and offers variety.
- Review and check reports, monthly programmes, and activities as required.
Requirements:
- Level 2 or 3 in Childcare and Development (Essential).
- Graduate-qualified teacher or Level 4/5 qualification (Desirable).
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a key person.
- Capable of implementing best practices and making informed, thoughtful decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Enthusiastic, with a strong sense of integrity and a positive, energetic approach to teamwork.
