We are now seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Manager to join our leadership team and support the day-to-day running of the nursery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Nursery Manager in the effective daily management of the nursery.
- Maintain high standards of care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
- Lead and inspire a team of practitioners, promoting a culture of continuous professional development.
- Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children and staff.
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider community.
- Oversee planning, observations, and assessments to track children's progress.
- Step in as Acting Manager during the Manager's absence.
- Manage administrative duties, including rota planning, staff appraisals, and policy updates.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 4 or above desirable).
- Previous experience in a supervisory or deputy role within an early years setting.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
