Position: Bank Staff – casual basis

Pay: From £12.21 per hour, plus leave allowance

We are looking for enthusiastic and flexible Early Years Practitioners to join our bank staff team, working on a casual basis across our nurseries and crèche settings. You’ll be part of a friendly and supportive team, helping to create safe, stimulating, and nurturing environments where children can learn, play, and thrive. This is a great opportunity for qualified childcare practitioners who want flexible shifts that fit around studies, family, or lifestyle—while making a real difference in children’s lives.

The purpose of the role is to:

  • Support children’s learning
  • Be a ‘key person’ to a small group of children and build positive relationships with their families
  • Protect and promote the health and well-being of children.
  • Ensure that safeguarding procedures are followed.
  • Promote positive relationships in the early years setting.

What We are Looking For

  • A minimum of Level 2 childcare qualification (essential).
  • Passion and enthusiasm for working with young children.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work across different settings.
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development principles.
  • Previous experience in nurseries/early years settings (desirable).
