Kids Takeover is part of the First Step Sports Group. We are specialists in planning, organizing and delivering cost effective, fun, and inclusive School Holiday Camps and Academy Programmes for children of all ages. Our programmes are designed to increase participation, develop fundamental skills, and provide lasting memories for all those attending. We have a dedicated in-house team of talented, qualified coaches and event professionals. Kids Takeover is passionate about supporting parents to raise happy, healthy kids by delivering inclusive, high-quality activities for children, focusing on fun, professionally run sessions.
We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate individuals who thrive in active environments and enjoy working with children to deliver our holiday Sports and Dance programmes. You must have experience coaching or teaching young people and be able to demonstrate a commitment to delivering high quality sessions. This is an exciting and rewarding role for confident, knowledgeable, and adaptable individuals with the ability to fully engage and motivate young participants. You should enjoy working as part of a team and be able to deliver, adjust, and differentiate sessions to prioritise both participant enjoyment and skill development.
Temporary contracts available - for the Easter & Summer Holidays. Applicants that do not have a level 2 sports coaching or equivalent dance qualification will be required to complete a level 2 sports qualification (subject to terms and conditions). £10.85 - £13 DOE (Age 17 - £8.82 - £9.36).
Responsibilities:
- Deliver a variety of sessions as part of our programme
- Provide a fun and exciting learning experience
- Follow our manual, policies, and procedures
- Be versatile, participate and assist other sessions during the week
- Be reliable and flexible
- Demonstrate professionalism and build relationships with parents and children
- Keep settings clean and tidy
- Follow all health and safety requirements
- Collect monitoring data and surveys from participants
Knowledge and Experience Requirements:
- 1 year teaching/coaching experience
- Level 2 sports coaching qualification/or equivalent dance qualification
- Experience creating and following lesson plans
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Experience working with a variety of ages
- First Aid and Child Protection Training – (these are mandatory qualifications, candidates without them will be offered training, subject to terms and conditions)
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport is beneficial, as travel to multiple locations is required
