In this role, you will deliver Physical Education lessons to pupils across a range of age groups in a primary school setting, demonstrating strong expertise in sports coaching. Ongoing training will be provided to support your professional development, alongside opportunities to apply your experience to effectively engage and motivate students.

We are seeking a PE Coach to work 30 hours per week. The role requires a confident and adaptable individual who can engage young people, work independently, act as a positive role model, and deliver high quality sessions that develop participants’ skills. Applicants must have prior experience working within a school environment.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver PE lessons and a variety of sports to primary school aged pupils.
  • Be assertive and respected by pupils.
  • Provide an exciting learning experience.
  • Be versatile and committed to learning.

  • Demonstrate professionalism to clients.
  • Travel to various locations and settings.
Knowledge and Experience Requirements
  • At least a NGB Level 2 Coaching Badge or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience working in a sports sector or school environment delivering sports sessions.
  • Good knowledge of at least 3 areas of the curriculum (Games, Dance, Gymnastics, Athletics, OAA).
  • Experience creating and following lesson plans.
  • Experience assessing pupil performance.
  • Knowledge and passion for a variety of sports.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Risk assessment experience.
  • Experience working with a variety of ages.
  • GCSE Maths and English.
  • First Aid and Child Protection Training (training can be provided).
  • Committed to continuous professional development.
  • Willingness to undergo training is essential.
  • A driving licence and your own transport are essential as you will be travelling to multiple locations.
