We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Active Care Lead to oversee our Morning and After School Clubs, ensuring children receive the very best care in a safe, fun, and engaging environment. As the Lead, you will plan and deliver a variety of creative, play-based activities that inspire and entertain children aged 4–11 years. You will take responsibility for the smooth running of the clubs, maintaining high standards of care and compliance, and fostering positive relationships with parents, children, and school staff.

Based in Yorkshire, with an expanding network of experienced team members located across the region, the business is comprised of several divisions, each specialising in a different area of physical activity development and delivery.

Compensation & Working Hours: £12.50 - £13.00 per hour DOE. Working Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 8:40am and Monday - Thursday 3:10pm - 5:30pm. Term-time only (with the opportunity of holiday work).
Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the Morning and After School Clubs.
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience and act as the main point of contact for parents and carers.
- Ensure the safeguarding and well-being of all children in your care.
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and professionals to support every child's development.
- Handle queries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
- Promote the clubs within the school and local community.
- Prepare and serve a light breakfast/tea for children attending the Active Care sessions.
- Manage the ordering or purchasing of food and supplies for the provision.
Knowledge and Experience Requirements:
- Experience in a similar environment (wraparound care/holiday clubs).
- Experience in EYFS (planning activities & experience assisting an Out of School Club or Sport Club) - (Desirable).
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Level 2/3 childcare or Play-work qualification (Desirable).
- Level 2 Food Hygiene (Training can be provided).
- Be available five days a week (Mon-Fri).
- First aid (Training can be provided).
