We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Active Care Lead to oversee our After School Club, ensuring children receive the very best care in a safe, fun, and engaging environment. As the Lead, you will plan and deliver a variety of creative, play-based activities that inspire and entertain children aged 4–11 years. You will take responsibility for the smooth running of the clubs, maintaining high standards of care and compliance, and fostering positive relationships with parents, children, and school staff.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 3:15pm – 5:15pm (Term-time only)
Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the Morning and After School Clubs.
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience and act as the main point of contact for parents and carers.
- Ensure the safeguarding and well-being of all children in your care.
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and professionals to support every child’s development.
- Handle queries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
- Promote the clubs within the school and local community.
- Prepare and serve a light breakfast/tea for children attending the Active Care sessions.
Knowledge and Experience Requirements:
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Level 2/3 Childcare or Playwork qualification (desirable).
- Level 2 Food Hygiene (training can be provided).
- Paediatric First Aid (training can be provided).
