Experienced Bus Driver – Taunton
£15.10 per hour
Already a PCV qualified Driver? We’re looking for drivers to join our team in Taunton. If you’re already a qualified PCV driver and want a steady role with a supportive depot, this could be a good fit. You’ll be driving local bus routes, helping passengers get where they need to be safely and on time.
What’s in it for you? You’ll earn £15.10 per hour, with the opportunity to increase your earnings through overtime when it’s available. This is a full time, permanent role with guaranteed contracted hours, and your shifts will be planned in advance so you know what your working week looks like ahead of time. You’ll work a rotating shift pattern covering mornings, evenings, and weekends, but everything is scheduled to give you as much predictability as possible.
The Role
- As one of our Bus Drivers, you'll safely operate local bus services, helping people travel to work, school, appointments, and home every day.
- You'll ensure every journey is safe, reliable, comfortable, and on time while delivering excellent customer service to every passenger.
- You'll be representing First Bus within your local community and playing an important role in keeping people connected.
What We’re Looking For
- Valid PCV licence
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
- Proof of Right to Work in the UK
- Strong customer service skills
- Flexible and reliable approach to shift work
