Job Description

  • Maintain a safe and secure environment & ensure safe access to buildings at all times.
  • Conduct patrols and hazard reporting as required.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety policies.
  • Complete all necessary reports according to company documentation.
  • Manage access / egress control.
  • Monitor alarms & CCTV systems.
  • Handle key holding responsibilities.
  • Control and monitor access to car parks.
  • Follow policies and procedures consistently.
  • Manage refuse and maintain site tidiness.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service.
  • Be polite, helpful, and diligent with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Maintain a calm demeanor to handle difficult situations.

Essential Skills

  • Valid SIA Licences (must include DS & preferably CCTV).
  • Security experience, preferably within a warehouse setting.
  • Ability to drive (own transport required due to location).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Punctuality and reliability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comprehensive 5-year work/unemployment/education history screenable to BS7858.
  • Comfortable patrolling long distances and standing for extended periods.
