Role Overview Display an outstanding level of customer service. Prevent and deter unauthorised access to non-public areas of the site. Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the assignment instructions. Perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the assignment instructions. Assist employees and visitors with any concerns they might have. Ensure any equipment provided by the customer and First Response Group is managed in accordance with procedures as detailed in the assignment instructions. To provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring the safeguarding of the premises. Ensure all employees and visitors have proper accreditation for accessing buildings. Ensure all walkways and emergency escape routes are always kept clear. Respond and investigate all fire and intruder alarm activations. Report instances of property at risk of being lost, stolen, damaged and/or vandalized. Carry out initial investigations and report both verbally and in writing incidents, suspicious activities and vehicles. Identify opportunities for improving practices and processes and discuss with the duty manager and site operations manager. Escalate emergency situations to law enforcement as needed.
