The Operations Support Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the Contract Manager by ensuring seamless site and client management. This dynamic position involves logistical coordination, compliance oversight, and frontline support all essential to maintaining high standards of service, officer welfare, and operational efficiency across our sites. About the RoleOperational Support & Logistics Coordinate the setup and mobilisation of new sites, ensuring timely delivery of equipment, uniforms, and resources. Conduct site surveys to evaluate operational needs and contribute to mobilisation planning. Support Contract Manager in managing client relationships and maintaining service excellence. Welfare & Compliance Carry out regular welfare checks to ensure the well-being of security officers and address any concerns. Ensure all sites comply with current Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and operational standards. Monitor health and safety compliance and report any issues. Deliver training to site-based officers to uphold compliance and meet client expectations. Technology & Equipment Management Oversee deployment and maintenance of security technology, including body-worn cameras, patrol systems, Big Change, and other tools. Ensure officers are equipped and trained on all necessary devices and systems. Conduct audits to maintain equipment efficiency and reliability. Incident & Escalation Support Provide on-the-ground support during critical incidents, assisting with resolution and escalation. Liaise with clients and security teams during emergencies to ensure professional and timely responses. Maintain incident records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Reporting & Continuous Improvement Compile detailed reports on site visits, compliance checks, and welfare assessments. Offer feedback and recommendations to enhance operational processes and client satisfaction. Drive innovation and best practices to elevate FRG’s security services. Requirements Key Skills & Competencies Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple sites and priorities. Excellent problem-solving abilities in fast-paced environments. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with officers, clients, and leadership. Solid understanding of security operations and compliance. Ability to work independently and collaboratively on a shift-based schedule. Qualifications & Experience Experience in an operational or supervisory role within security or facilities management. Knowledge of security compliance, risk assessments, and health & safety standards. Previous experience in site mobilisation, client management, and welfare support is desirable. SIA Licence required. Must be prepared to undertake FREC 3 and EUSR water hygiene training. Proficiency in security technology and reporting tools. Full UK driving licence is essential
