Responsibilities
- Maintain a confident and professional security presence across hotel and theatre environments, ensuring guests, staff, performers and visitors feel safe, welcome and supported at all times.
- Manage entry points and access control, verifying credentials, monitoring guest flow and ensuring only authorised individuals access restricted areas.
- Conduct proactive internal and external patrols, identifying potential risks, safety hazards or suspicious behaviour before issues escalate.
- Support live events and performances by managing crowd movement, maintaining order and ensuring a smooth and safe guest experience during high traffic periods.
- Respond quickly and effectively to incidents, disturbances or emergencies, using sound judgement and calm decision-making under pressure.
- Deliver high-level customer service, assisting guests with directions, enquiries and support while maintaining security standards expected within premium hospitality venues.
- Complete accurate incident reporting and security documentation, ensuring all events, observations and actions are recorded clearly and professionally.
- Work collaboratively with venue management, staff teams and emergency services to uphold safety standards and ensure operational excellence across the venue.
Requirements
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (Essential)
- Previous experience in hospitality, hotels, theatres or event venues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and presentation
- Ability to remain calm, confident and decisive in high-pressure situations
- Strong awareness of customer service within security environments
- Flexibility to work including evenings, weekends and event days
