This role is for experienced crowd safety stewards who are confident working as part of a team in live stadium environments.

About the Role

Join First Response Group as a Crowd Safety Steward working at a major football and events venue based in Watford. This is a front-facing role where professionalism, awareness and customer service matter just as much as safety. You will help create a safe and positive environment for spectators while supporting event operations from arrival through to departure.

Key responsibilities

  • Welcoming spectators and providing clear directions and assistance
  • Monitoring crowd movement within concourses, seating areas and entrances
  • Managing queues and access points during peak periods
  • Identifying and reporting safety risks or unusual behaviour
  • Supporting emergency and evacuation procedures when required
  • Working closely with supervisors and control room teams
