We are seeking an experienced Control Room Operator to join our team at First Response Group for an immersive entertainment district in central London.

We are seeking an experienced Control Room Operator to join our team at First Response Group for an immersive entertainment district in central London.
Successful candidates will be responsible for controlling officer deployment and any requests from the client.
Job Description
The Control Room Operator role also involves monitoring the CCTV cameras, controlling the access control of the building, and being the lead for any emergency and/or incident.
Shift Details

  • 12.25 Hour shifts.
  • 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
  • Days and nights.
  • £15.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities Of The Control Room Operator Include
  • Protecting the integrity, security, and safety of the site, its employees, guests, and visitors.
  • Monitoring all CCTV, access control, and fire systems across the site.
  • Protecting the company’s assets against theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.
  • Investigating security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behaviour.
  • Ensuring that all mandatory positions are manned, and all staffing requests are being fulfilled.
  • Responding to emergencies and incidents within designated areas promptly and according to policy.
  • Completing reports and record observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
  • Completing site administration duties.
  • Ensuring compliance with government regulations.
  • Delivering the highest levels of customer service, consistently demonstrating the core values of First Response Group.
The Control Room Operator position is for candidates with CCTV Operator and Door Supervisor licences, and previous experience in the control room or as an SOC Operative or Security Officer.

Additional Information

Essential Skills
Essential Skills:
  • Must have a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
  • Must have a valid CCTV Operators Licence.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
  • Fully comprehensive 5-year work/unemployment/education history screenable to BS7858.
  • Must have demonstrable experience working in a similar role in high-profile / high-footfall environments.
  • Have a high level of self-presentation.
  • Be punctual and reliable.
  • High levels of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
