We are looking for a skilled and motivated CCTV Tower Engineer to join our expanding technical team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with solid experience in deploying, commissioning, maintaining, and decommissioning mobile CCTV tower systems. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality security solutions across construction sites, critical infrastructure, renewable energy projects, and other temporary locations nationwide. Ideally based within an hour of our Chesham office, you will be responsible for ensuring systems are installed safely, configured correctly, and operating at optimum performance.

The role also involves configuring AI-powered video analytics, establishing reliable communications, and enabling effective remote monitoring from day one. In addition, you’ll support a wider range of temporary electronic security solutions, offering variety and development within a growing technical environment.

About the Role:

  • Deploy, install, and decommission mobile CCTV towers across UK customer sites
  • Safely tow CCTV tower trailers using company vehicles
  • Commission, test, and hand over fully operational systems
  • Install, maintain, and remove temporary intruder alarm systems
  • Deploy and support M-PID systems and other temporary security technologies
  • Configure CCTV cameras for optimal coverage based on site risks
  • Set up AI analytics (intrusion detection, tripwires, line crossing, etc.) to maximise accuracy and minimise false alarms
  • Establish and maintain connectivity via 4G, 5G, and other communication networks
  • Ensure systems are fully integrated with remote monitoring platforms and alarm receiving centres
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and fault diagnosis (on-site and remotely)
  • Maintain accurate installation reports, commissioning records, and photographic documentation
  • Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, and site teams
  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety standards and company procedures

Requirements Desirable Skills & Qualifications:

  • ECS or CSCS card
  • IPAF and/or PASMA certification
  • Experience in construction, utilities, renewables, or infrastructure sectors
  • Experience with solar-powered CCTV towers and temporary systems
  • Familiarity with leading CCTV brands and analytics platforms
