About the Role Patrolling & Monitoring: Conduct regular internal and external patrols of the premises to identify and deter unauthorised access, damage, safety risks, or suspicious behaviour. Monitor CCTV systems and security equipment to ensure continuous site surveillance. Access Control: Control and monitor all entry and exit points, verifying identification, issuing passes, and authorising visitors in accordance with site policies. Ensure all access procedures are strictly followed and escalate any breaches promptly. Incident Response: Respond quickly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents. Take appropriate action in line with established procedures, including liaising with emergency services and providing first response support where required. Customer Service: Maintain a professional, vigilant, and approachable presence at all times. Provide clear directions, assistance, and support to visitors, employees, and contractors, ensuring a positive and secure environment. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including daily logs, incident reports, and handover notes. Ensure all documentation meets compliance standards and supports effective communication between shifts.
