We’re looking for an experienced Utilities Surveyor to join a growing team delivering high-quality underground utility and CCTV surveys across major construction and infrastructure projects. As a Utilities Surveyor, you’ll work independently on projects ranging from small, targeted surveys to large, complex, multi-disciplined schemes. Using modern surveying technology, you’ll capture, process, and present accurate data while maintaining the highest professional and safety standards.
What you’ll be doing:
- Completing utility and CCTV surveys of varying scale and complexity to a consistently high standard
- Working collaboratively on large projects with surveyors and engineers of mixed experience levels
- Providing guidance and on-site support to trainees, junior surveyors, and technicians
- Processing raw survey and CAD data accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining surveying instruments and ensuring they’re always fit for purpose
- Carrying out site inspections and dynamic risk assessments, raising safety concerns when needed

What we’re looking for:
- 2–3+ years’ experience in utility and CCTV surveying
- Strong knowledge of traversing, GPS control networks, and survey control
- Hands-on experience with GPS and Total Station equipment
- Proven ability to process survey and CAD data to a high standard
- A professional, approachable manner and strong communication skills
- A solid understanding of health & safety within civil engineering
- GCSEs (minimum 5) including Maths and English (Grade C / 4 or above)
- A full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK
